High Potentials for your organisation
Ifmec’s Young Professionals are ambitious high potentials who have graduated excellently and who are at the start of their career. Ifmec helps the Young Professionals getting ready for higher positions in the domain of facilities management by investing in education and personal development. In this process, Ifmec keeps in mind the new competences that demand and management organisations request.
Every Young Professional works for Ifmec during one and half years. During this period, they are seconded to three different organisations: a profit organisation, an organisation in health care and a governmental organisation. The assignments last for about six months and are based on existing positions and management issues.
All Young Professionals graduate the Post Graduate course Facilities Management at the Ifmec Academy. During this course, the Young Professionals together with experienced Facility Managers, go through a high quality curriculum. Besides that, the Young Professionals attend activities that are organised by Ifmec, such as the ’24 uur van Doorn’, masterclasses, seminars and peer-to-peer learning.

Assessment and coaching
Every Young Professional is assigned an Ifmec consultant as a coach who acts as a partner for the substantive personal development. This development is guided by a Personal Development Plan (POP) that the Young Professional prepares and evaluates with his or her coach.
Exchange of experience and network
Every three weeks, there are intervention meetings where personal experiences are exchanged and linked to assignments. Experts on, for example purchasing, HRM, services and ICT are invited to talk about specific issues. Besides that, the Young Professionals organise company visits to get inspired by new environments.
The experiences with this program are unanimously positive, both from the Young Professionals and the organisations that make use of their efforts.
