About the client
Medrie is a regional organization for general practitioners in the regions of Flevoland, Hardenberg and Zwolle. They organize emergency general practitioner care during the evenings, nights and weekends. Medrie supports the general practitioners in day practices and with innovations in general practitioner care. So that the 270 general practitioners receive good care to more than 600,000 patients.

Our contribution
A consultant has worked at Medrie as a Facility Coordinator and advisor. She directed employees as functional manager. She also gave redesign advice in response to the changed way of working as a result of the Corona pandemic and ensured that the redesign was implemented. .
Another assignment at Medrie was threefold.
- Writing a vision on Facility Support
- Support of the existing Service Desk
- Investigate the needs of the regions in the field of Facility Coordination in response to an opinion already issued
When writing a vision, our consultant made a good inventory of what was needed at Medrie in the field of Facility support. This concerned a wide range within the Facility Services: from Accessibility and Reception to Security, Caretaker tasks, Catering and Technical maintenance. The best way to organize support services was also examined. The resulting consequences for the Service Desk were taken into account.
Our Facility Coordinator also ensured that the Service Desk was further professionalised. The employees of the desk were guided and supported in this. Efforts were made to broaden and deepen the tasks of these employees.
In researching the needs of the regions, our consultant spoke to all parties personally in order to best assess the needs.
