Our Young Professionals are excellent graduated students with passion for facility management. They are energetic and smart, like challenges, provide new insights and dare to think differently. Our Young Professionals are deployed on an existing job or they are working on interesting management issues.
Kailey Burgers: Kailey graduated for her bachelor Facility Management in 2017 at the Saxion Hospitality Business School in Deventer. She is service oriented, inquisitive and has a hands-on mentality. Kailey thinks hospitality is essential in organizations, she would like to do just that extra to make the customer feel special. Kailey is interested in issues related to customer experience, soft services, HRM, project management and planning and organization. During her bachelor, she has gained experience in organizing events, measuring the degree of hospitality and customer satisfaction, analyzing and improving the policy related to customer experience and warm meals in nursing homes. Kailey likes to work on interesting and challenging assignments. In addition to her work as Young Professional, Kailey is currently following courses about contract management. Esther Mannak: In 2017 Esther obtained her bachelor Facility Management Major Hospitality at Hanze Universitiy in Groningen. This already indicates that Esther is actively engaged in the subject of hospitality, which focuses on optimizing processes for the customer. Her graduation research at Ifmec contributed to the research theme of Ifmec 2017 “Added Value”. Esther has focused on the added value of facility departments within top clinical, academic and general hospitals. She is service-oriented, result-oriented, adventurous and keeps the overview in her work well. Esther is interested in issues related to: hospitality, event management and change management. Eva Buurma: Eva is ambitious, critical, quality-oriented and enthusiastic. She always goes for the best results. Her study Facility Management at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, offered her a broad orientation in the facility field. During her study, she gained experience of soft services as well as the hard services. For example, she conducted both experience and customer satisfaction surveys in different organizations. She also researched the indoor climate and the Sick Building Syndrome within the municipality of Groningen and Rabobank. She particularly likes the combination of the human-oriented and business-friendly element of Facility Management. In addition, she is interested in procurement and security processes. Through her extensive experience gained by following the Honors Talent Program and the fulfillment of various activities as a student-assistant, she has expanded her analytical and communicative skills. Furthermore, she is a real team player, but she can also work very well independently. Joey Kuijper: Joey graduated at Inholland University of Applied Sciences Diemen in 2015. His thesis has become an assessment for WTC Amsterdam’s comprehensive security policy. Joey is characterized by his motivation to deliver high quality, to handle proactively and to accept challenges. His experiences in tourism and other service sectors have led to a communicative strong and customer-oriented Young Professional, who does not hesitate to act on an international level. Joey is currently very interested in the development of merging HRM, FM, ICT and Finance into one supportive department. Previously, Joey has gained experience of organizing events and partly setting up a management organization. Currently, he is coordinating and redesigning the service desk at the Police in North Holland with the aim of creating a more welcoming mindset within the Police. Monique Laloe: Monique graduated for her bachelor Facility Management in 2016 at the Hague University of Applied Sciences. Her thesis was about the work of the central contract managers, based on various theories on contract management. Her research resulted in recommendations to the Government for the policy of improving the provision of purchasing information to the central contract managers. Monique is an inquisitive, flexible employee who deals with her work effectively. Monique’s challenge is to probe her own opinions and knowledge in mutual contacts. Anne Wetzer: Anne graduated for her Bachelor degree Facility Management in 2014 at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Keywords that describe her character are communicatively strong, social, modest, motivated and inquisitive. From her work experience at Rabobank, Anne has experience with the transition to a chain organization, implementing FMIS systems, professionalizing the service desk and coordinating soft services. She sees a challenge in optimizing facility processes with focus on the desires of the customer. Her ambition in the future is to get a management position in the facility work field. Marjolein Biert: Marjolein graduated for her Bachelor degree Facility Management in 2015 at the Academy Diedenoort. Her thesis at Schiphol Group focused on the parking policy for the parking spaces around Schiphol. She is serviceable, accurate and have an eye for detail. Marjolein goes for the best customer experience, she is satisfied if the customer is satisfied. Furthermore, Marjolein is highly motivated, passionate and eager to learn! Marjolein is therefore able to do different kinds of work in the field of Facility Management. She is interested in issues related to soft services, project management, planning and organizing, logistics and housing. During her Bachelor and afterwards, she did various work at various companies: operational execution facility service desk, measuring occupancy rates of buildings and analyzing and improving policy related to facility issues. In addition, she has already gained experience in organizing events. Marjolein likes challenges and she wants the best results for the customer and for her colleagues. Kyara van der Tuin: Kyara received her bachelor Facility Management in 2016 at the Saxion University. She is a flexible, creative and enthusiastic Young Professional who has the necessary perseverance. Loyal, service- and result-oriented are words that describe Kyara. The results she produces are characterized by carefulness and she is always open for the opinions and expertise of others. Kyara has gained experience in monitoring and updating processes, coordinating the soft services and providing support in an upcoming organization. She has also gained knowledge in the hospitality industry and supports a charity organization. Her ambitions lie particularly in housing and change issues and the implementation of new skills from the facility field. At this moment, Kyara supports Villa Pardoes (holiday residence for sick children) with the development of apps as part of the hospitality plan.
