Young Professional Programme
Both IFMEC and F-MEX invest in talent, education and further development of the field of Facility Management. Therefore, the Young Professional Programme was developed to do so in the best way possible: by investing in honour graduates.
Goal of the Young Professional Programme is to support and provide graduates with great opportunities to enter the market. By doing so, Young Professionals are ‘trained’ for jobs and tasks with high responsibilities.
1. Structure
A Young Professional is expected to work as junior advisor/facility manager and study at the same time within IFMEC. Each project will last at least 6 months. Young Professionals are expected to do 3 projects in total, each project in a different sector of the market: commercial, health care of government).
2. Education
The education that is followed during the Young Professional Programme is a Post Bachelor. Young Professionals share knowledge and experience with professionals and the other way around. In addition, all F-MEX, IFMEC and other events that are often organised can be attended.
3. Coaching
Coaching moments are planned each three weeks. Topics that are discussed during such coaching moments are personal development in relation to the project. As Young Professionals share a similar background, IFMEC and F-MEX stimulate this by helping out each other by planning ‘brainstorm sessions’.
4. Selection
As the Young Professional Programme is the follow up of the Excellent Student Programme, some Young Professionals used to be an Excellent Student. However, many Young Professionals applied for the position of Young Professional. Selection criteria are based on the resume and application letter.
